Health & Wellness Services @ Barnard
Primary Care Health Services (PCHS) is the student health center for Barnard College. The major area of responsibility for PCHS is providing primary healthcare medical services for the entire student body of Barnard College.
The Rosemary Furman Counseling Center promotes the social and emotional development of Barnard students to facilitate their richest experience of college life. They offer free therapy, groups, workshops, and medication to assist students in maintaining emotional and mental health.
The Francine A. LeFrak Foundation Center for Well-Being unites initiatives that address the key dimensions of health and wellness, using holistic well-being support to propel success throughout the Barnard community.
The Public Health Response Team provides expertise and sustained focus on health and safety and supports faculty, staff, and students in partnership with other areas within the College and university, including COVID-19 support.
Marina Catallozzi
Dr. Catallozzi will oversee the Francine A. LeFrak Foundation Center for Well-Being and will enhance undergraduate medical research opportunities for Barnard students.
Health Promotion and Education at Barnard
Our programs include the Denise LeFrak Foundation Alcohol and Substance Awareness Program, The Wellness Spot Health Promotion Program and the Being Barnard Violence Prevention Program.
